Guidelines for the promotion of culture in Radolfzell

The town of Radolfzell am Bodensee supports the regional diversity of art, cultural and educational associations, particularly with regard to their work with young people.
The cultural office and the music school are the contacts for funding cultural associations based in Radolfzell as well as for municipal support for cultural initiatives and projects. Applications for grants for the promotion of associations and specific charitable projects can always be submitted by May 31 of the previous year in which the project is to be started.

• For applications for grants for the promotion of associations (basic funding) in the amount of €150, please send us your application informally by post. For each child/young person under the age of 18, you will receive an additional subsidy of €18. Please then attach the “List of young people in an association 2023” and the “Declaration of compliance with the Federal Child Protection Act” to your application for association funding. • To apply for funding for non-profit cultural projects, please use the form “Application for open project funding”. Funding is provided for public art and cultural projects in accordance with the subsidiarity principle. This means that the possible municipal subsidy is a maximum of 30% of the project costs and should not exceed the shortfall. The municipal grant for open project funding is limited to a maximum of €10,000 per application.
• For applications for funding for construction measures, please use the form “Application for grant for construction measure”.
• In the case of club anniversaries, a club receives an anniversary gift for every 25 years of existence. Please send us an informal letter for this purpose.
• It is also possible to provide a covering subsidy for the use of the Milchwerk congress center for the association’s own cultural events. Please send us an informal letter for this purpose.

The grants are paid out after the applications have been reviewed and voted on by the municipal council and after the budget for the following year (2024) has been approved.
