Cultural diversity in Radolfzell
The cultural office of the town of Radolfzell promotes art and culture, maintains traditions and offers a platform for new collaborations. This lays the foundation for a creative and innovative cultural program in Radolfzell. As a point of contact for regional artists and cultural associations, for example with regard to the possibilities of municipal funding, it supports regional diversity and commitment.
Events organized by the cultural office
Around 40 events are also organized, marketed and carried out by the cultural office each year – including popular events such as the Lake Festival, the Promenade Concerts, the Federal Art Prize for People with Disabilities, the Culture Night, the traditional Hausherrenfest, the Market Square Concert and the Sculptors’ Symposium in Mettnau Park.
The Cultural Office is also responsible for the administration of the Villa Bosch, its own events and exhibitions, as well as the town twinning with Istres (France) and Amriswil (Switzerland). The cultural office also promotes the city’s cultural identity with the conception and implementation of the “Radolfzell City of Music” project.
